The Safe and Sound Speakers Bureau Welcomes Two New Exclusive Members to Its Powerful Lineup
We are honored to welcome Officer Meg Soultz, MS, EMTP, and Dr. Savahanna Wagner as exclusive members of the Safe and Sound Speakers Bureau! Partners and co-founders of Rescue in Color, Meg and Savahanna bring an extraordinary blend of law enforcement, emergency medicine, and public health expertise to their work in school safety. Their shared mission is simple yet powerful: to equip school communities with the confidence, tools, and training to act quickly and effectively when emergencies happen.
“Meg and Savahanna are a dynamic team whose impact is felt the moment they enter a room. They have walked the walk in both medicine and law enforcement, and they translate that real-world experience into training that empowers audiences with practical skills needed to take action. Whether speaking and training together or separately, their passion, expertise, and commitment to safer schools make them an invaluable addition to our Speakers Bureau.” — Michele Gay, Founder and Executive Director, Safe and Sound Schools
Officer Meg Soultz brings nearly two decades of combined experience as a paramedic, tactical medic, SWAT officer, and school resource officer. She is known for her straightforward, confidence-building approach that bridges the gap between first responders and school staff.
Dr. Savahanna Wagner, a physician with a background in EMS, disaster preparedness, and public health, brings a clinical lens and compassionate, trauma-informed perspective to her training.
Together, they complement one another seamlessly — and individually, each offers unique expertise that resonates with school leaders, safety teams, first responders, and any audience looking to feel more equipped in the face of an emergency.
“School safety requires both preparation and confidence. By breaking down emergency response and bleeding control into simple, clear steps, we empower people at every level — from teachers and administrators to parents and students — to step in and make a difference when it matters most. We’re excited to continue this work through the Safe and Sound Speakers Bureau.” — Officer Meg Soultz & Dr. Savahanna Wagner
Both Meg and Savahanna’s work have been recognized across school districts, conferences, and communities nationwide. With training formats that range from quick one-hour sessions to full-day workshops, they ensure schools of all sizes can access practical, life-saving education.
