Today, our hearts are with the Tumbler Ridge community and all of British Columbia as they begin to process and grieve yesterday’s tragedy.
We know that the impact of such a senseless act of violence is far-reaching and long-lasting. Those affected will need sustained care, compassion, and support in the days, weeks, and months ahead. In moments like this, it is essential that communities come together to hold one another up, to listen, and to lead with empathy.
As parents, educators, first responders, and community members committed to school safety and student well-being, we stand united in our support for this grieving community. We also remain steadfast in our mission: when we stand together with purpose and resolve, we can help build a future where every student, educator, and community is truly safe and sound.
