BIOGRAPHY
D.J. Schoeff is a veteran law enforcement officer, nationally recognized school safety expert, and dynamic leadership consultant. He currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Administration for the Carmel Police Department in Indiana, bringing over two decades of dedicated public service as a third-generation police officer.
D.J.’s career uniquely bridges private-sector expertise and public service. Prior to joining law enforcement, he traveled internationally as a corporate trainer-a background that built his strong foundation in public speaking and workforce development. Over the course of 14+ years as a School Resource Officer (SRO) and SRO Supervisor, D.J. emerged as a leading voice in national school safety. He is a Charter Board Member of the Indiana School Resource Officers Association and previously served as President of the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO). Hiss advocacy was instrumental in defining SRO roles in Indiana law and securing millions of dollars in federal and state funding for school safety nationwide.
